We will learn selected songs from the repertoire of Maria Siwiec, including wedding songs for capping ceremonies, characterized by the changes in melody, songs for various festivities, and rhythmic songs that can be sung at dances. We will also work on the famous songs from Gałki which use melodies created by Maria, and those beloved by the great violinists from the neighboring villages – Józef Zaraś from Nieznamierowice, and brothers Jan and Piotr Gaca born in Przystałowice Małe.

Maria Siwiec – born in 1959 near Przysucha in the unusually musical micro region of Kajoki. She has been singing from the youngest age, first with her dad and sisters, then as a wedding bridesmaid at capping ceremonies. From 1980 she sang with Zakukała Kukułeczka ensemble from Gałki Rusinowskie. Later, in 2012, she founded Gołcunecki.
