The Instrument Fair Workshop

The Instrument Fair Workshop opens on April 25, from 6 p.m. till midnight, in Warsaw, as part of the Mazurkas of the 2025 World Festival at Terminalu Kultury Gocław, at the same time as the Concert: On the Dancehouse Trail.

The Instrument Fair Workshop is an important staple on the Festival map and a solid preparation for the 15th Instrument Fair which will take place the day after. Festival participants are interested in the art of instrument making and they often need minor repairs or luthier consultations. Here, everyone can find help and advice.
Constantly searching for the perfect formula, we direct our attention towards the old manufactures. It was there, under the watchful eyes of the craft masters, where whole generations of makers were born who faithfully followed traditions but did not shy away from occasional strokes of genius and discoveries. It was there that up to a dozen of people who loved their crafts worked hand in hand. Some of the manufactures were open to the public, while other hid their priceless secrets behind closed doors.
Come and join us! An opportunity like this does not come often. Walk into the Workshop, bring your instrument for a fix or a consultation, walk among the unknown tools, woodchips, and instruments coming to life before your very eyes. Ask a million questions or none at all, look, listen and see if this adventure may be something right up your alley…
