VIOLIN – crooked rhythms crooked sounds
Led by Janusz Prusinowski
For intermediate and advanced students with their own instrument; the ability to learn a tune by ear and repeat it on an instrument is required
During the violin workshop “crooked rhythms, crooked sounds”, we will focus on the musical language of Piotr Gaca from Rdzów (Radom region). Rdzuchow obers and mazurkas will be an opportunity to direct our attention to the irregular precision of phrasing and the specificity of intonation, of which Piotr was a master. We will also perform melodies based on singing in this way and look for their natural knots and accents. We will also (of course) play by ear. The workshop is aimed at people who already play (at least a little).
