For intermediate and advanced players – you need to bring your own instrument and be able to learn a melody by ear and repeat it on the instrument

What gives music its energy? How can a simple, repetitive motif be the fuel that keeps turning up the heat on the dancefloor and replenishing the player’s energy? What elements, apart from the initial melodic line, create the individual character of the mazurkas? We will be working on the beautiful mazurkas from Kazimierz Meto, a musician with a unique style and a vast repertoire of beautiful, archaic melodies who played with incredible focus and energy.

Maciej Filipczuk – musician playing in crudo music to dance (Tęgie Chłopy, Maciej Filipczuk i Goście Weselni) and the leader and co-founder of many artistic projects inspired by traditional music (Radical Polish Ansambl, Dżezbandyta).
