Helena Szych
Born 1939 in Piegonisko Kolonia, Kalisz region, Brzeziny commune. In the past, she would sing at local events such as „pierzochy” (tearing feathers), May mass or weddings. For many years, she also participated in wakes, singing and maintaining this tradition. For 20 years, she has sang in “Brzezinianki” group, and performed at different festivals.
