Mateusz Raszewski
Born 1980, instrument maker, fiddler, mountaineer. The last apprentice of Jan Gaca and the first of Leon Lewandowski. Does field research in Kalisz region, resulting with hundreds of recordings featuring folk musicians, vocalists and genuine instruments. One of them is local basolia, which he treats as a prototype for his own handmade instruments.
