Piękna Kompania
Piękna Kompania – is a band based on friendships formed in the homes of rural musicians, playing together and playing in local firehouses. We play after Leon Lewandowski, Jozef Tomczyk (Kalisz), Jan and Piotr Gaca, Marian Wójcik, Jozef Papis (Radom).
The music of the last masters of wedding playing is the language of the heart for us. We play the melodies as we heard them in their backyard or by peeping at them “in the making”, while sailing into the open waters of improvisation. Then these obereks become like a breath for us.
