Wiesława Gromadzka – née Kołazińska, born in Zdonków near Przysucha, is the only woman playing the three-row pedal accordion in the Radom region and also the most active musician and singer. In her youth, she played with her father Stefan in the Kołaziński family wedding band, which was particularly popular in the region.

After a few years’ hiatus from playing, she resumed playing the accordion and still takes part in local folklore contests and very much enjoys playing music for dancing at parties, dances or festivals. A great teacher, she infects her own grandchildren and all those willing to learn her repertoire with a passion for traditional music.

For years, she has been accompanied on her musical journey by violinist Katarzyna Zedel, and together with Katarzyna Rosik and Marta Domachowska, they form an all-female musical lineup whose domain is singing songs and chants while playing to the dance.
